Many individuals without dental insurance may ultimately avoid visiting the dentist and receiving the care they need due to concerns over cost and payment. Our team at Eastern Virginia Family & Cosmetic Dentistry firmly believes that everyone should have access to high-quality dental care regardless of their personal financial situation. This is why we offer a range of convenient payment and financing options and our very own Dental Wellness Plan to help make oral health and wellness more affordable and achievable. Our benefit plan is designed to help fulfill the needs of patients with no dental insurance.
What Are My Options if I Don’t Have Dental Insurance?
In addition to our Dental Wellness Plan program, patients who do not have dental insurance have a few alternative options at our practice. Some individuals choose to pay out-of-pocket for treatment via cash, check, or credit card, and others apply for dental care financing. Our practice has partnered with CareCredit®, a reputable third-party lending agency that can help make the cost of dental procedures more accessible through monthly budgeting and payment plans for qualified applicants.
What Are the Benefits of a Dental Membership Plan?
Our Dental Wellness Plan is a membership option that offers a variety of benefits, including discounts on treatments. By paying an annual premium, patients are provided with benefits such as:
- An Initial Comprehensive Exam
- Oral Cancer Screenings
- Professional Dental Cleanings
- Any Necessary Diagnostic X-rays (such as Bitewing, Full Mouth Series, and Panorex)
- Fluoride Treatments
Second Preventive Care Visit (at recommended interval):
- Periodic Exam
- Professional Routine Dental Cleaning
- Oral Cancer Screening
Additionally, membership in our Dental Wellness Plan includes:
- 15% discount on dental services during contract year
- No maximums or deductibles
- No waiting periods
- No dental service will be denied for coverage
Annual Membership Premium Fees
- $378 – Individual, Adult Premium
- $319 – Individual, Child Premium
That can amount to a savings of up to $195 each off preventive and diagnostic services. Membership fees are due upon acceptance and treatment fees are due the day of service.
*This program is a discount plan, not dental insurance. It cannot be used in conjunction with a dental insurance plan.
